They grew up in Menxoberranzan, as the accidental and scorned daughter of a preistess of Lolth (their father a long forgotten human man). In their teen years, they started following Eilistraee, causing them to be cast out by their mother. They became a paladin of Eilistraee, making an oath to avenge those harmed by Lolth's teachings.

After years of wandering the Sword Coast, they were captured by the mindflayer ship. In their adventure, they fell in love with Karlach Cliffgate; with whom they traveled into hell to find a permanent cure for her infernal heart.
